How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Ridefy account and all associated personal data directly from the app:

1. Open the Ridefy app at app.ridefy.fi
2. Tap your profile picture (top right) to open your Profile
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Account information: Name, email, phone number, profile photo, and login credentials
• Ride data: All ride offers, ride requests, and booking history
• Trip data: Completed and pending trips, including route and cost details
• Community memberships: All community memberships and roles are removed
• Messages: All conversations and messages
• Ratings and reviews: Ratings you have given and received
• Vehicle information: Registered vehicles, license plates, and emission data
• Routines: Saved commute routines and preferences
• Firebase authentication: Your login account is disabled and deleted from Firebase

Deletion Timeline

Account deletion is processed immediately. Your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days of the deletion request. During this period, your account is deactivated and inaccessible.

Facebook Users

If you signed up with Facebook, you can also initiate data deletion from Facebook:

1. Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
2. Find Ridefy and click Remove
3. This will automatically deactivate your Ridefy account

Alternatively, you can delete your account directly from the Ridefy app as described above.

Data We May Retain

In certain cases, we may be legally required to retain minimal records (such as transaction logs) for regulatory compliance. Any retained data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to your identity.
